Sparkling wines
Château Moncontour has dedicated more than half of its vines to the production of sparkling wines.

Our different Cuvées are made along the "Traditional Method":
  
  • The grapes are gently pressed; the selected juices are fermented separately in stainless steel.
  • After this first fermentation in tanks, the different wines are blended into one or several Cuvées prior to their second fermentation in bottles.
  • Once this second fermentation completed the wines will mature in bottle on their lies from a minimum of 12 months and up to 36 months for some Cuvées.
