Château Moncontour has dedicated more than half of its vines to the production of sparkling wines.
Our different Cuvées are made along the "Traditional Method":
The grapes are gently pressed; the selected juices are fermented separately in stainless steel.
After this first fermentation in tanks, the different wines are blended into one or several Cuvées prior to their second fermentation in bottles.
Once this second fermentation completed the wines will mature in bottle on their lies from a minimum of 12 months and up to 36 months for some Cuvées.
