Dry and Off-dry Vouvray
The off-dry Vouvray is probably the archetype of Vouvray wines. Here the nature allows for a nice equilibrium between the natural acidity of the Chenin in the Loire valley and the hint of sweetness brought by well matured grapes.
Moncontour's off-dry Vouvray is rounded and full with characteristic aromas of pear, quince and exotic fruits.
The dry Vouvray is fully aromatic, subtle and fresh with no sweet tones. Usually appreciated young, it can also reveal all its complexity and personality after five to ten years.
Vouvray Demi-Sec "La Belle Angerie" 2005
This Vouvray is named after the name of one our best parcel especially fitted for the production of demi-sec.
The grapes are harvested when fully matured, gently pressed, and fermented in French oak barrels.
The wine itself is mature with lovely quince, white peach, fig and spice flavors on filigrine frame. Its long lacy finish shows a lime hint.

Vouvray Sec 2006
Our 2006 Vouvray sec 2006 is pale yellow with hints of green.
Its noose is fresh presenting both aromas of fruits and flowers. Its mouth presents afresh attack with a good acidity. Its roundness allow for a nice finish.
Vouvray Sec "Les Chapelles" 2005
This pale yellow Vouvray wavers between flower and fruit aromas. The fresh attack is followed by an impression of roundness enhanced with apricot aromas. A generous wine with a very nice balance.
